Bali is not specifically known for its beautiful beaches. Around most of the island, the beaches look more darkish brown or black. And a lot of beaches are also referred to as black sand beaches.
Now given, many of these beaches hold their own little charm. But You can definitely find those spectacularly beautiful beaches, with gold and white sand, and crystal clear blue ocean water, also right here in Bali. But for those beaches you will have to visit the southern part of Bali. In specific, the area named the South Kuta Peninsuala, a.k.a the Bukit. Which lies south of the airport.
These are among others the areas known as Jimbaran, Uluwatu, Nusa Dua and Ungasan. Here you will find those white beaches with that turquoise blue water and the rolling waves.
Now I tried my best to go around most of the beachfront in this whole southern peninsula. To be able to give you a great impression of the beaches you can find there. If you are a person who loves to go to the beach, if it is to go relax, sunbath, watch the waves, or just overall enjoy the look and vibe of a beach, then the south of Bali is the place for you to visit. As each beach has a different vibe. There are more private luxury resort beaches, small hidden beaches, large stretched out quite beaches, surfer beaches, you name it.
I visited and filmed almost all of the most popular and beautiful beaches of that area. And I want to share my impressions of those beaches with you. So, come and explore the beautiful beaches that the South Kuta Peninsula has to offer down below.
